In 2007 Valnerina Tartufi began its adventure, after seven years the transfer to Terni has become necessary, in a structure more suitable to accommodate the company, which has start growing day by day.
In 2021 the return to the Valnerina area, where the new headquarters was built, inaugurated in August, which is added to a warehouse, which has remained in Terni.
“In our future – the brothers Elisabetta and Leonardo Matteucci explain – we look to a company bigger in space, but we also wanted to go back to nature, from where we and our family started from. In that Valnerina valley where we were born and where our raw materials are born. And then discover new and interesting markets “.
From the 100 square meters of the past, the company has grown and several departments were created, from production to quality service, from the fresh department to packing and wrapping ones, passing through the sales department, the administrative area and the front office.
At the beginning of the journey there were only two people, today the company has about twenty collaborators.
“In the company there is no mention of the relationship between employee and owner – add the Matteucci brothers – our collaborators are the most important resource and if they feel an integral part of the company, it means that they can work well and with joy as if it were their own thing”.
